Motivational Message
“Believe you can and you're halfway there.” – Theodore Roosevelt
As we reach the halfway point of the final term, it's the perfect time to reflect on all we've accomplished so far and to push forward with renewed energy. The finish line is in sight, and every step you take brings you closer to achieving your goals. Stay focused, keep a positive mindset, and remember that each day is an opportunity to learn and grow. Let’s finish this term strong together—believing in ourselves and each other. You've got this!
Warm regards,
TWPS staff
Premier's Reading Challenge Reception
On Wednesday the 20th of November, Two Wells Primary school were invited to attend the PRC Reception held at The Sanctuary Function Centre at the Adelaide Zoo. Miss Amber, Mrs Dickinson, Summa Smith (School Captain) and Rosaleigh Phillips (Communications Captain) represented our school during this event.
During the presentation, TWPS were recognised for being in the top 55 high achieving schools during the Premier's Reading Challenge out of over 600 schools! Summa and Rosaleigh did an amazing job at representing our school by walking up to receive our prestigious award, along with a bag of brand new books - well done girls. What an amazing achievement for TWPS, we are so proud of our students.
They got to meet some incredible people like author Mem Fox, author Phil Cummings, our Education Minister Blair Boyer MP, Journalist Rebecca Morse, players from the Port Adelaide Women's AFL Team, and some of the Adelaide 36ers basketball team. They were even treated to watch a special Drama performance performed by high school students at Charles Campbell College.
To top it off, after the presentation, the girls were able to walk around the Zoo and enjoy all the amazing animals the Adelaide Zoo has to offer!
Overall a great day and an awesome achievement from our TWPS students.

Swimming 2024
In Term 4, both Junior Primary and Middle Primary students participated in swimming lessons that focused on building water confidence, improving swimming techniques, and learning essential water safety skills.
The JP students started their lessons in week 4 and MP started theirs in week 2. Both groups learned important water safety practices, like entering and exiting the water, rescue techniques and the MP students were delving into deeper water safety. By the end of their lessons all students had made significant progress in their swimming abilities, becoming more confident and skilled swimmers.

Disco Disco Disco
On Friday the 8th of November, our very own Two Wells Primary parents and friends held a disco for the students!
Everyone came dressed in bright outfits, adding a burst of colour to the event. The night was filled with good tunes, dance competitions, and singing performances, where students had the chance to show off their best moves and voices.
There were yummy snacks and drinks, and even glow sticks, lighting up the room creating a party atmosphere. The disco was all about having fun, dancing, and enjoying time with friends, making it a memorable and energetic event for everyone involved.

The X Factory
Announcing the TWPS school play for 2025........ THE X FACTORY
St Dithers School is in trouble! Following an extremely poor OFFSET inspection the school has been labelled 'Average' and is in grave danger of being closed down.
The governors, worried about the fate of their school and with only 6 weeks to turn things around, decide to take drastic action. They realise that improving the school in that length of time would be impossible and that it would be easier to replace the head, and most of the pupils, with 'super-talented' ones. They also decide to bring in entirely new staff made up of celebrities from the world of entertainment!
A new head teacher, Simon Trowel, is appointed with the intention of making the school into a breeding ground for young superstars who will one day be on TV reality shows and dominate show business forever! New 'super-teachers' are brought in from the world of 'showbiz reality TV shows' and include: Will.I.Was, Cherri Cola, Dusty Barrel, Bruno Macaroni and Craig Rebel-Cardboard. Bant and Beck, the northern comic duo, are also appointed as the 'Superstar Announcers'.
When the staff and pupils decide to fight back, fun and frolics ensue.
