Enrolment process
Families are welcome to enquire to enrol at Two Wells Primary School at any point during the school year. School tours are available upon request.

Please use the reception registration of interest form to register your interest in reception enrolment.
Eligibility for reception
If your child turns 5:
- before 1 May, they can start primary school at the start of the year.
- after 1 May and before 31 October a child can start reception in term 3.
- from 31 October, children start school term 1 the following year.
Your child must be at school by their 6th birthday.
If Two Wells Primary School is not your local school, you can still apply to enrol, but enrolment will only be offered if we have places available.

Please use our expression of interest to enrol for school to register your interest to enrol a child in year 1-6.
Mid-year intake from 2024
From 2024, there will be a mid-year intake into school.
From 2024, if your child turns 5 years between 1 May and 31 October, they can start school in either:
- term 3 of the same year
- or term 1 the following year.
Students enrolled through a mid-year intake will complete 6 terms of reception.

Apply to enrol
Step 1: submit a registration of interest form by 30 June. You can get a form by accessing the links above, from our front office or email our school and we will send a form directly to you: dl.0444.info@schools.sa.edu.au
Step 2: submit your verification documents by 31 August. You’ll need to provide:
- a copy of the child’s original birth certificate or passport
- an immunisation certificate
- residency visa, if you’re a non-Australian resident
- proof of address (for example utility bill or lease agreement).
Offers of enrolment
Step 3: You’ll receive an offer of enrolment in September. Make sure you accept an offer by the specified date.
Step 4: At this point, you can attend an information session. During the session we can help you fill in an enrolment form.
You’ll need to provide:
- a completed enrolment form
- a copy of the child’s original birth certificate or passport
- an immunisation certificate
- residency visa, if you’re a non-Australian resident
- proof of address (for example utility bill or lease agreement).
Transition visits
Before starting school, you’ll get a letter to let you know when you can attend transition visits. Children eligible to start in Term 1, will attend visits in term 4 the previous year. Children eligible to start mid-year will have transition visits in term 2.
