Leadership Message
Class of 2024…
“People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”-Maya Angelou
For many of us, the 2024 school year was like a rollercoaster with many ups and downs. The thing is, I have been impressed and inspired by our students, staff and families with the ongoing support so that ultimately the students were able to thrive and prosper. From starting your schooling journey in 2017 whether it was at TWPS or another school, we have cried, laughed, learned, and ultimately grown stronger and wiser together. It may not always have been easy, but we were never alone. You have shared a journey that you will never forget and you have now been equipped to start your high school journey.
And so here we are near the end of the school year and for some of us near the end of our time at TWPS. Our Class of 2024 are ready to embark upon life’s great new adventures, some of you to distant places the rest of us point to on maps and wonder, “who is there; what are they like?” Soon we will know, because still not one of them will be alone. This has been true for a long, long time that our students never really leave, that TWPS is a family of which we are always a part. We have been the test to that rule, and we have proven it to be true as many of you always return to visit.
I commend all of our students, from reception to graduates, for their hard work, joy of learning, and pursuit of excellence this year. I commend them for their entrepreneurial spirit which can be seen from student garden & Kitchen, school musical, student leadership teams and everything in-between. I commend our teachers, from reception through to year 6, for guiding, supporting, and challenging our students and themselves to think and learn and grow. I commend our staff, all of them, for their unwavering commitment to providing the very best learning environment possible, for making TWPS the unquestioned leader in education in Two Wells.
As hard as it is to say goodbye, we also look forward to start the journey from reception all over again so welcoming our new families to our community in 2025. We also have exciting times ahead for our current students as they move through the years of schooling, the excitement of building new positive relationships with new staff, embarking on accessing a new level of curriculum and collecting those precious memories along the way.
All of us at TWPS would like to wish our community a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, stay safe, have fun and create those lifelong family memories.
I look forward to seeing you all back refreshed and ready to make 2025 the best year yet.

Rosie Sarakinis Farewell
As my time at Two Wells Primary comes to an end, I have recently accepted a new role as an inclusive educator with the Department of Education - an exciting new chapter that I look forward to with enthusiasm.
As I take a moment to pause and reflect on my journey at Two Wells Primary, I am filled with gratitude for the incredible experiences I’ve shared with students, staff, and the wider community.
My time here both as a teacher and leader has truly been a memorable and rewarding chapter in my career. Collaborating with the dedicated and passionate staff at Two Wells Primary has been an unforgettable experience. The commitment, professionalism, and teamwork of this group have been invaluable, fostering a supportive and nurturing learning environment for all.
Thank you to every student, staff member, and community member who has made my time special. It has been an honour to serve the community and the lessons and relationships with stay with me for years to come.

Year 6 Graduation
On Monday, December 2nd, our Year 6 students gathered to celebrate a significant milestone - their graduation. It was a moment of reflection, growth, and excitement for the future. As they received their certificates and looked ahead to the new adventures awaiting them in high school, we couldn't help but feel proud of all they’ve achieved.
The evening concluded with a lively disco, filled with laughter, dancing, and unforgettable memories. This graduation marked not just the end of their primary school journey but the beginning of new challenges and opportunities.
We wish them all the best as they step into this next chapter of their lives with confidence, empathy for others and determination. Well done to the class of 2024.

The X Factory - School Play
All we can say is WOW WOW WOW!
On Wednesday, December 11th, the school was buzzing with excitement as the students put on an absolutely spectacular performance of The X Factory play to our parents, friends and the Two Wells community!
The stage came alive with incredible energy, dazzling performances, and unforgettable moments. From the very first scene to the final curtain call, the talent and enthusiasm of every student were on full display.
A massive thank you goes to Miss Beck for her invaluable effort in organising and facilitating this fantastic production. Her dedication and vision made the play an absolute success, and we are all so grateful for the time and passion she poured into bringing this show to life. It was an evening full of laughter and creativity!
Year 5/6 School Camp
From November 27th to 29th, Room 12 and Room 13 embarked on an unforgettable school camp at Woodhouse. It was a time for students to step outside their classrooms and form lasting friendships through a variety of bonding activities.
The camp not only created memories of fun and laughter but also strengthened the sense of community among the students, leaving them with a deeper appreciation for teamwork, nature, and the value of shared experiences. It was a chance for everyone to work together and build trust while having FUN!
Class of 2024
Today, Friday the 13th, marks the bittersweet end of the school year as we bid farewell to our incredible Class of 2024 for the last time.
It's hard to believe how quickly time has passed, and though we’re filled with pride for all they’ve achieved, there’s a sense of sadness knowing that this chapter is closing. These students have not only grown academically but have also shown excellence in demonstrating respect, courage, compassion and growth mindset - our school values, and as well an incredible and unwavering sense of community.
As they step into the next chapter of their lives, we are confident they will continue to shine brightly and make us proud. We will miss them dearly, but we know that the future is full of endless possibilities for this amazing group. Farewell, Class of 2024.

We would like to extend this congratulations to Amia Smith, a year 5 student in room 13 who has been recognised for her passion, dedication and willingness for our school and community. Amia was awarded the State Parliament Award by Penny Pratt our MP where she received a well deserved medallion and certificate for her achievement. Well done Amia.
Staff Farewell
It is with mixed emotions that we bid farewell to such a wonderful group of educators who have made an incredible impact on our community. Your dedication, passion, and support have touched the lives of so many students, staff, and families. You have inspired, challenged, and nurtured minds, and for that, we are forever grateful. As some of you move on to new chapters in life, roles, university completion and study, we only wish you success and happiness and we will not forget you.

To my dear Two Wells School Community,
The time has come for me to bid farewell. It is with mixed emotions that I say goodbye after 27 years at Two Wells Primary School. A chapter must close to allow for another to open. I will be teaching Art at Mark Oliphant College from 2025. A subject I am passionate about and am very excited to deliver with students.
I want to take the opportunity to thank all the families of students and staff that I have worked with over the years who have shaped me to be the teacher that I have become. It is an honour to serve the community, and those memories will be forever in my heart.
